Design for an orbital payload module for experimentation in the zero gravity and micro gravity manufacture of three dimensional optical photon based processors as 7.62 cm spheres formed within a crystalline cube of 7.62 cm x 7.62 cm x 7.62 cm. The orbital payload module is a self contained 1 m cube of 1 m x 1 m x 1 m.
The apparatus includes swappable mounting hardware on hard points and swappable standard power connector modules. Thermal management for the apparatus is handled by an internal, sealed, closed loop, non-toxic, inert liquid cooling system. Thermal management interface to the host vessel takes the form of swappable thermal interface modules providing either; liquid cooling with dual redundant cold flow inlet connectors and dual redundant hot flow return connectors, or, air cooling with a wide cool air inlet connector and a wide hot air return connector. Console interface is via a swappable copper or fiber Ethernet module. This work is towards BFM SAViM IV. This work, towards a factory, may be superseded by developments in Lakhvinder's theoretical works in extremely high energy plasmas which may allow for earth based manufacture of high purity structures. In this event, this experimental apparatus does provide for high quality samples in the interim whilst high energy sources become available for earth based manufacture. Zero gravity and micro gravity environs allow for low energy manufacture, whilst as yet theoretical high energy approaches allow for earth based manufacture.
