  • Insurance Policy Automation System. 1980-1983

    Lakhvinder developed and deployed a system for automating insurance policy calculation, selection, formulation, issuance and billing for the insurance agency level. The system was deployed on the Apple II platform in Yuba City, California. Exclusive Intellectual Property of Lakhvinder.

  • Mathematics and English Language Educational Software. 1980-1983

    Lakhvinder developed and deployed various software for teaching elementary mathematics and English language to children under 12. The software grew to include modules allowing for educators to construct learning paths, drilling, quizzing and testing interactively. The platforms were Commodore PET, Commodore VIC-20, Tandy/Radio Shack TRS-80, Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, Commodore 64 and Apple II. These projects were performed from Yuba City, California.   • Computer Science Lab for Education. 1983-1984

    In 1983-1984, Lakhvinder deployed an extensive computer science lab for high-school education consisting of Commodore 64, Apple II, Osborne portable computers and Hewlett-Packard 150 II series touchscreen and non-touchscreen platforms. An existing mini-computer with numerous VT terminals was also revamped for special needs education. These deployments were most impressive for any educational installation of the time, and, rivaled many colleges of the time. Epson printers and Hewlett-Packard multi color plotters were also deployed. Any aspects involving Intellectual Property were conferred upon the manufacturers, the board and the public domain.

  • Real-Time Football Statistics & Analysis System. 1983-1984

    Lakhvinder developed and deployed a real-time football statistics acquisition, analysis, predictive and decision support system during the years 1983-1984 in Lamont and Arvin, California. The system was written in BASIC and Assembly with deployment on Commodore 64 and Apple II platforms. The Intellectual Property rights were conferred upon the Client, insofar as the rudimentary Intellectual Property conventions of the time.

  • superUI Architecture & Framework. 1986

    Architecture & framework for supercomputing services user interface for control, information logistics and situational awareness. The system included the complete loop from server (back-end) to client (front-end). This system remained in production use as Lakhvinder's supercomputing services architecture into the 21st century.   • superUI VT100. 1986

    VT100 terminal user interface for superUI. Remained in production use in Lakhvinder's supercomputing services and supercomputer installations for quite some time in order to support clients with legacy systems including batch work-flows, command-line work-flows, terminal application interfaces and the first mobile devices which were unable to support the full GUI interfaces of the times.   • Wireless Tablet Computer based Medical Information and Diagnosis System. 1992

    A wireless tablet computer based medical information and diagnosis system. The system provided wireless, mobile access for health care workers to the entire gamut of hospital and research hospital information systems and processes. This included patient records databases, processing systems, diagnosis databases and knowledge bases and the PDQ and CANCERLIT databases. The system included the front-ends to these databases & knowledge bases as well as the server side interfaces. The system also integrated a decision support expert system. One must also keep in mind the year 1992. The system was subsequently developed to the point of an alpha/beta ready release. The system was developed in the Borland C development environment, the Franz Lisp environment, Windows based tablets with proprietary wireless networks and Unix based servers.     gopher protocol user interface for superUI. The gopher protocol was a text based system for surfing the Web prior to the advent of Web browsers and the formalization of the Web we as we know it today.   • Field SIGINT and Theoretical Model Information Fusion System. 1993

    A system for the fusion of field acquired SIGINT data and data from theoretical models to both refine the predictive model simulator for increased accuracy, and, for the interpolated expansion of the density of field acquired SIGINT data.
