Lakhvinder Singh Takhar is the founding chief executive, scientist, designer & technologist of Lakhvinder David Takhar center for advanced studies since inception on August 1, 1986. Mr. Takhar stands with an operational experience of over a quarter century of global engagement in the transdisciplinary application of science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics and special operations to enterprises across industry, commerce, finance, education, government, military, intelligence, entertainment, marketing, humanitarian and public policy.
The portfolio of the Organization represents the personal body of work of Mr. Takhar. Specializing in non-trivial high-security operations, much of his work remains confidential. We shall discuss here, some of his publicly disclosed body of work.

The AmI Bricks are rugged field notebook computers improvised from commodity netbooks (mini-laptop computers) to serve as research and experimental platforms for various aspects of Lakhvinder | TS in lieu of the inadequacies of manufacturers of rugged computers. Using commodity netbooks from Wal-Mart ® and Fry's Electronics ®, with off the shelf parts and tools from Wal-Mart, Fry's and Home Depot ® — the AmIBricks have been produced at an average cost of USD $610 per unit and have been tested to a limited degree meeting MIL-STD-810G and IP54 standards. The USD $610 average cost per unit includes all economic inputs with the exception those which are labor related inputs.

The diversity of Lakhvinder's operations across borders, industries and cultures has developed within Jas a robust fluency in technical & social relationships, many of which have been formed in the fires of crisis management.
The sister of Lakhvinder Singh Takhar, Jas first developed her skills and talents from the ground up during her education and externally prior to joining the Organization in 1988.
